leadership pipeline and its content

Today I was visiting LCP meeting (it was the last day). It was nice. So many leaders in one room.
It's so interesting to observe how can leader influence on LC. Smart leader- smart LC, result oriented leader- result oriented LC, random leader- random LC, etc. It's obvious. Leaders are bringing the same people and the same attitude towards AIESEC to their LCs.

Again and again I realize how amazing leadership opportunities in AIESEC are.
Become a leader, manage a team, lead by example, challenge mindets of people, achieve impact, believe, do mistakes, get yourself and people around you better.

But the most important- FEEL THE RESPONSIBILITY for the future. It's awesome.

the bar

During one of our teamdays we were imaging the ideal profile of AIESEC in Russia's member and came up that it should be an entrepreneur who takes new challenges and do all his (her) best in order to achieve the needed result whatever happens.

Last week I clearly observed that we are pretty close to this vision. I am happy that this conference made a contribution on development of such people.

The bar is rising.

rinat + blog reunion

First post after 11 months.
Hey everyone!

Its funny that my previous post was about NEC'09 in St.Pete, where I was a faci, because already tomorrow I am flying to Samara for NEC'10, where I will be the conference manager.
Some of you can think that NEC conferences is the only thing that is happening in my life. But its not. Fortunately.

I am still alive. Moreover, I am almost the same, because its difficult to stay exactly the same after such period of an intensive personal and professional experience.

The life is just perfect. Its consists of a lots of emotions, people, learnings and choices. All this is a great platform to learn, make conclusions and become better everyday.

Any ideas when I will post the next message? Maybe before NEC'11?

some updates

  • NEC'09 was amazing, one of the best conferences for me and the first facilitating experience at national conferences! I think that this xp was quite successfull, but still there are a lots of things to improve :) It's not enough to be the best...
  • I really liked my LC delegation on this conference! I think this year our LC made a breakthrough and the main provement of it is our members. They are GREAT!
  • LCP 09-10 of AIESEC in UFA is elected! Her name is Liza Myachina (current VPOGX)! Now we are in the process of electing the whole EB team 09-10. I am just happy for them!
  • EB 08-09 rocks and we have 2 more month! Love my team!
  • Regina (member of my LC) was elected as LCP for our mentee LC Kazan!! So proud of here and of LC!
  • Amazing people are getting elected for LCPs in AIESEC Russia! It makes me really happy and motivated.
  • Masha (our current MCP) rocks the house! AI Director for 09-10! I think its a great success for the whole AIESEC Russia! We are proud of you!
  • USATU is about to kick out AIESEC office from university :) We are raising new offices in other universities and negotiating with USATU about our work there. I am really shocked by some people who are leading this university and their attitude to active students... brr. I will write about the result by the end of this week.
  • From 16th to 23d of March I am going to attend euroXpro in Romania!
  • Study is still issue :) Thinking about finishing bachelor degree this year.
  • I was challenged by my time management, but now I am going to challenge it ;)

We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future.

the chase

Finally I can take a deep breath.
Today I succesfully passed 2 exams and 1 credit :) what a great day!

On sunday me and Olya from my LC were participating on the radio broadcasting for 2 hours. I loved it! Because I love to experience something new!
The topic of our discussion were leadership and exchange. I think that it was quite succesfull interview in terms of AIESEC promo :)

On wednesday our LC will sum up results of the first cycle (september-january), announce the awards and elect OCPs and TLs for the 2nd cycle.

Now we have 8 trainees in our LC. And some more will be here soon. I am so happy to realize, that LC UFA is growing on my eyes and becoming more stronger, structured and mature than before.

Its a great feeling when I see my 4 potential successors and realizing that they are just awesome! Applications for EB 09-10 will be released on this week!

But still, my amazing EB team 08-09 has 4 more months to make a lots of cool thing and bring more results.

Have a look at my new team- AIESEC Russia MC 09-10:
